“This Too Shall Pass”, a hand-carved, hand-printed Linocut print, created during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020. Available as a limited edition of only 30 in either silver or copper.

Inspired by the Printer Solstice prompt of the same name, this expression was used by Abraham Lincoln in a speech before he became the sixteenth US President, though its origins in fact stem from a traditional Persian adage, making reference to the impermanence of the human condition.
It’s particularly apt for the current pandemic, and moreover, if you have ever suffered from Depression or Anxiety it’s a useful anchor to hold onto.
For this reason I will be donating 10% of its £10 selling price to the mental health charity, Mind.

This design is a signed, limited edition print. As with all handmade items, each one will vary slightly, making it completely unique.
It is printed with silver or copper water-based ink on black A5 135gsm paper.
I use only water-based ink for environmental reasons.
